  • vaanp.org (sometimes referred to herein as “the Website”) is not a static website. Changes may be made. Information is current as of its initial posting or when modified.
  • The Virginia Association of Naturopathic Physicians (“VAANP”) holds the copyright on items on vaanp.org. The copyright covers text, graphics, selection, arrangement and presentation of materials and website design. VAANP’s written permission is required to reproduce or republish items on the Website. 
  • VAANP’s Board of Directors must approve any usage of the VAANP’s logo.
  • Links may be made to vaanp.org so long as the links do not use VAANP’s trademarks or service marks. VAANP does not endorse or support the linking site, its sponsors and/or its advertisers.
  • vaanp.org is provided to users “as is.”  VAANP makes no representations or warranties of any kind or any nature, express or implied, created by law, contract or otherwise, including, without limitation, any representations or warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement.

  • VAANP is a professional trade association. It is not a regulatory or licensing authority.
  • VAANP’s pertinent corporate purposes are (i) improvement and advancement of the philosophy, science, art and practice of naturopathic medicine, as defined by the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (“AANP”); (ii) service of the common interest in the improvement and advancement of naturopathic medicine shared by members of the VAANP; (iii) promotion of professional and social interaction among members of the VAANP and members of the AANP; (iv) education of the general public regarding the merits and best uses of naturopathic medicine; (v) fostering of cooperation between the naturopathic medical profession and other health care professionals in keeping with the general public’s interest in quality health care; and (vi) promotion of the general public’s right to freedom of choice in health care.
